Robotic Breakthrough: Growth Dynamics

Statistics show a steep upward curve in UGV deployment. Each month, the Defence Forces increasingly rely on robots for logistics and evacuation. Compared with the start of the year, mission numbers have nearly doubled:

  • January 2026: Over 7,500 missions completed.
  • May 2026: More than 14,000 sorties recorded.
  • At the same time, the number of units integrating UGVs into their formations has risen from 117 in January to 230 in May.

Motivation and Supply: Brave1 and DOT-Chain Defence

Units earn e-points for missions conducted with unmanned ground vehicles. These can be exchanged via the Brave1 Market platform for essential equipment — new drones, electronic warfare tools, components, and more UGVs.

Frontline technical supply is also expanding. Earlier reports said that 1,028 UGVs had been delivered to the Defence Forces, procured through the designated arms marketplace DOT-Chain Defence at a total price of over UAH 487 million.

Technological Edge Over the Enemy

Maintaining technological superiority over occupant forces is a fundamental priority for Ukraine. A key step came in May, when the Parliament passed legislation exempting UGV supplies from VAT. This measure is expected to lower procurement costs and accelerate the delivery of robots to the frontline.
